      SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the solid state imaging device comprises steps of: forming an imaging portion equipped with a photoelectric conversion portion and a charge transfer portion for transferring the charge formed in the photoelectric conversion portion; and forming the condenser lens on the imaging portion via a planarized film. The method also comprises steps of: forming a first optical film having a lens shape by patterning a lens substrate; and forming a second optical film on the first optical film by controlling the film formation condition so that a lens having a desired curvature is constructed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat dissipation characteristics of a solid state imaging device chip.
      SOLUTION: In a solid state imaging apparatus 1 wherein the solid state imaging device chip 2 is contained in a box-shaped package 3, the solid state imaging device chip 2 is pinched by a bent flexible wiring board 6, and the flexible wiring board 6 is stuck on the inside of the box-shaped package 3. The solid state imaging device chip 2 and lead terminals 5 of the box-shaped package 3 are electrically connected using lead wiring 7 of the flexible wiring board 6. Thus, the lead wiring 7 can be utilized not only as the electric connection but also as the heat dissipation path for the chip 2, so that the heat dissipation characteristics of the chip is improved.

      SOLUTION: The digital camera 10 is constituted of a body unit 14, and a lens barrel unit 12 that is attached to/detached from the front side of the body unit 14. A CCD 20 is arranged in an engaging barrel 22, constituting the back side of the lens barrel unit 12. The CCD 20 is attached to the back plate 24 of the engaging barrel 22. The body unit 14 is equipped with an aperture 30 that pierces through, from the front surface to the back surface, and then the engaging barrel 22 is fit in the aperture 30, whereby the lens barrel unit 12 and the body unit 14 are integrated. A monitor 40 is attached to the back of the body unit 14 through a shaft. The monitor 40 is held freely turnable between a shutting position, where it covers over the aperture 30 from the back side of the body unit 14 and an opening position, where it opens the aperture 30 to expose the back plate 24 so as to discharge heat from the CCD 20 to the outside.
